Federico Aubele's Panamericana is comprised of a rich eloquently relaxed Spanish style of music that brings back "salsa dance," while also giving off a soft-contemporary European feel verging into Frou Frou's waters from their 2002 self-titled debut album. The album, all in Spanish, reminds the listener of a relaxing time on the beach to just sit and chill with a Corona and your closest lady friend. For a good time, Panamericana will definitely get you there! Panamericana, much like Aubele's previous album Gran Hotel Buenos Aires in 2004 brings a sound directly from his home in Argentina. Unlike Gran Hotel however, Panamericana shows a bit of Aubele's evolution as a musician making a better flowing progressive paced album with an experimental sound of synthesizers mixed with chord arpeggios that bring a vibe similar to Air's Playground Love. Aubele also revives the lost fine art of classical guitar, showing other popular musicians that music today does not have to be made of solely power chords, Garage Band and how much effort you put into your image.
