It’s one thing to close out the night at Sunset Junction, with throngs of people at your feet. It’s another thing to marry them. Yes, Edward Sharpe, with whatever powers he believes are invested in him, married the crowd and so everyone was married for that night. Who knows – it was an amazing set, with loud sing-a-longs and claps, the harmony of the music was only matched by the density of the swaying crowd. Sunset Junction 2010, on the harbor still, was deemed worthy to sail into the history books. You should definitely go out of your way to see another show with this band – it’s so life affirming.
