Pasadena, with her super-clean alleys, her antique shops and scented candles wafting on window seals, and countless eateries, the city of Roses you caught me off guard. Make Music Pasadena, the bergs claim to the summer music festival fever, managed to cram in a modest amount of tunes. Unfortunately, it was all over by the time the sun set.  

Matt & Kim, the drum-keyboard duo who infect their fans with Cheshire Grins, clogged up Holly Street in Old Town Pasadena. The sun was setting, the crowd was young and full of life/sugar and the whole scene was bathed in that orange dusk glow.
