Lordi did some crazy pyrotechnic stuff and played the same song over about 14 times. They got the crowd excited, being the first band on the main stage. They didn’t conquer the crowd, because when they wanted people to shout back, they humored the Finnish band. If anything, Lordi were like the soft liquor before the harder stuff.
