Around the later afternoon, more people began to arrive. The air was tense and hot. Dirt either caked your hair or got into your lungs (among other things in our lungs). Then all hell broke loose when Behemoth took the stage. It was a giant magnet, as people ran from all across the fields to mosh to the Poland band’s newest songs off of The Apostacy album. Our photographer got caught up in the pit, got some video and made it out with his life.
The sun was out in full force, but it doesn’t really matter when you’re almost naked in a most pit with people who just want to let loose. Fuck the idea of staying fresh. If anything, you came to Ozzfest to escape civilization
